If you have a habit of forgetting to start the timer for the first few minutes, Paydirt starts the timer 5, 10, 20, 30, or 60 minutes ago. There are also optional estimates that will help you stay on budget. They also offer online invoicing, the ability to accept credit cards, team management, online quotes and business reports all starting at $80 a year. Monthly billing is also available.

Designed specifically for freelancers, TopTracker allows you to track from any device. 100% free and still full of features. It allows for complete privacy for freelancers while also doing screenshots and webcam shots.
Evenhour works on top of other apps like Asana, Trello, Basecamp, and Teamwork you can log time with one click. You don’t need to figure out yet another program for this one. There are also personal estimates and progress bars that allow you to stay on top of your individual tasks. Track your time in different increments, whichever works best for you. The solo account is a very reasonable $8 a month, or pay less for the yearly plan.
Our last one is a time tracking app great for freelancers and teams. Fanurio tracks both billable and non-billable hours. You can track expenses, work, trips and even internal projects that you won’t be billing for but are still great to keep track of. There is a timer that will prompt you if it’s been running for a little bit to ensure you didn’t forget. There is also the ability to manually enter times.In addition, Fanurio has invoices that you can export and send to your clients. Lastly, you can analyze your performance to see how you are doing. All this for a $59 license fee that comes with an annual maintenance plan.
